Thanks man! I'm ordering the Method Racing 312 Bronze I believe. I'm looking for a good lift before a I order them. 4-6 inch. Any recommendations? I want to keep the wheels 17" with a 33" tire. Trying to have it done by the end of October but I want to order parts ASAP.

Do you plan on offroading or is the lift just going to be for looks?

For getting offroad a 3" suspension lift is going to be better. Checkout @HeadStrong Off-Road for a great selection and top notch customer service.

Regarding the customer service of Headstrong, do you have a special number for them? On their site it seems they only take emails. When I Googled their number I finally found one but the message says, "you'll receive a response within 48-72 hours." I promise I'm not trying to be cute here, but that doesn't seem top notch. Right now I've heard about downsouthmotorsports, toyotec and headstrong. I've only spoken with the first two.

This is my 1st Taco (2018 Sport 4x4) and I'm new to lifting. I'm looking to do a 2" lift in the front and 1" lift in the back. DownsouthMotorsports.com said an inexpensive way to do this is to change the shocks to Bilstein 5100s. I then discovered (by reading their website) Headstrong does not recommend setting these shocks to the highest setting of 2" on a 4x4.
When I called Downsouth back with this info, the salesman assured me I would be good to go with the stock springs and the 5100s with a 1" spacer in the back. I then went back to the TW forums and heard about Toyotec. I called them and their salesman said I should return the 5100s and get their . So I'm a little confused as to which way to go.

Yes, I am trying to do this inexpensively for the aesthetics, but I don't want it to ride like a meat wagon either. I can pay a little extra for this. Thanks for any advice.

I did the 2” front coilovers and 1.5” block in rear. Rides awesome. A lot better then stock in my opinion. Soaks up bumps well not a rough ride at all. upload_2018-10-28_21-41-19.jpg
