This was one of my first mods, the other was rear camera for pre wired tail gates. Mine came with convenience package so it already had cruise.

One nice thing about having a base model is all the empty switch positions, mine had 7. Still ended up making two switch panels for the center. The left of wheel blanks I'm reserving for lights and possibly a topper lift switch.

My buddy bought a 2017 that didn't have intermittent wipers. I was blown away that any car company even made one like that anymore!

Mine is a 4x4 base regular cab 2008. I believe that was the last MY where factory cruise was plug and play. I installed the factory cruise, including the clutch cut-off switch less than 500 miles after I bought it new. Now at 118,000 it still works perfectly. With the newer models, I think you have to do some wiring, as they're not pre-wired for cruise like the 2005 - 2008 Tacomas' were. Do a search on Tacoma World for installing the cruise on the 2nd generation for both the factory intermittent wipers (which I've also installed) and the cruise. The how-to's are very detailed and also have (if they haven't been removed) excellent pictures for the installs.

My 09 TRD OR had the rear view camera and the display was in the mirror.

Haha I have screenshots of that exact bumper on my phone right now. When it comes time for an aftermarket bumper, that’s the one I plan to go with. It’s the best looking in my opinion and priced really well.

Picked up a used 2018 SR CC in MGM last week. Pic posted below (sorry, it’s the same pic I posted in new members section). B748E834-B5BC-4F93-8BD8-AC78F6501B8B.jpg What’s crazy to me that they consider this a “base” model - it came with V6, 4x4, a/t, tow package, cruise control (with the radar thing), electric windows, doors, mirrors, back-up camera, a/c, Bluetooth that talks to you, bed light, am/fm/cd and all kinds of other electronics/computer that calculates mpg, range, time travelled etc. oh, it came with these fancy wheels too. Probably has more that I’m just not thinking of. Did not come with fog lights, keyless entry or intermittent wipers but I’m putting those in. Not quite sure what else I would need... ...maybe an altimeter or Geiger counter for the zombie apocalypse?
