im new to Tacoma’s. I keep reading about this needle bearing. What is it, where is it, do I have one on my 2018, is there a preemptive move I should make to eliminate the problem? Does anybody have a picture of this thing and it’s location?

    Thanks

It's the support bearing for the front left CV axle shaft. Once the truck is lifted by aftermarket means it puts stress on a needle bearing that is designed for straight level wear. It is then upgraded and replaced by a solid bushing that allows for stress at an angle.

Most 2016+'s with 2+ inch lifts end up with a vibration in 2WD that is felt by the feet. This is the only way to resolve it on a lifted truck.
