Inverter low output

    SSO hybrid bumper, Warn winch, RCI skid trilogy, RRW sliders, everything in the cheap/free mods thread, and of course the frame recall work.
    My 115V bed outlet is only hitting 10V. Where is the unit, anyone ever replace it, can a better one be dropped in?

    There are plenty of inverters out there that you could retrofit, but you need to pay attention to wire gauge to and from the unit. For that reason, I would stick pretty close to stock wattage.

    Thanks. I would guess that even at stock wattage an aftermarket unit would be more reliable and cost less to replace.

    Not to insult you but are you sure you put your meter on AC? I'm going to have to cjekc mine now. I only have a few months of warranty left. How much did you use it?

    Yes, I am sure :) I also checked it with an outlet tester and with my electric detector for construction work - all of them came up and insufficient power. Nothing plugged in works, but the relays kick on and the fuses are all fine. Switch lights are on, no fan sounds from inverter - I think it's just not functional.
