    I just wanted to say thanks to the topic starter.

    Since 3 months I have been busy preparing and getting stuff to make it and now, today, I finished making it.

    I absolutely love the simple design.

    I made a few minor changes but the basic is the same

    Funny what you find...old archives. I too am getting ready to modify my old Diamondback cover to fit my new truck.

    Anyone know what is the best way to cut straight with .080 aluminum? Circular saw?

    With those open key holes you better not need to remove it during the winter here in Illinois. Wonder how long those lock tumblers will work after getting wet repeatedly when it rains?
