I had a 2005 and then a 2010 Tacoma. Then I had a 2014 Nissan Frontier and then a 2016 F150. Now I have a 2018 Tacoma. Are there any structural or size differences in the 3rd gen cabs compared to the previous gen cabs? My wife thinks the 2018 cab is smaller than the 2010 cab. Have there been changes to the internal cab, roof and door structures? If so, how so? I know the frame is different to meet the narrow offset crash test. Have the roof, doors and cab been strengthened?
