Just biked RI spot and saw many hunters, some orange hats wouldn't be a bad idea.

Well shit if they are actually hunting right there, which is foolish on there part, I'm going to sit this 1 out... I do believe in giving the hunters some space.
We could go out on Sunday instead...I'm not sure if their allowed to hunt on Sunday, I know CT there's no hunting on Sunday.

Sorry sometimes I get set off when people say certain things that remind me of what others have said or acted out in the past.
I compare it to the woods I am always in which I probably shouldn't, but I know it's not the only place that gets trashed or abused.

It's not. It's by town in RI.

Towns closed to Sunday hunting on private lands include Portsmouth, Little Compton, Middletown, and Barrington.

I'm assuming it's at least those and a few more

That's all I found too, nothing about not being able to on State land.

Yup. I'm assuming those will also be no hunting on Sundays anywhere in those towns. But for Anytown you're going wheeling in, you'd have to call the local PD

I dont really see the problem with wheeling through public land when hunters are around. Though yall know that area, I dont

Not like we're going to be intentionally disrupting them or the land or anything..

Honestly maybe just wear orange ?

Haha kidding. I agree. If they're that close to the trail then they shouldn't have any right to be upset .

I have no problem with you guys going out there but it was pointed out to me that there are people hunting out there.
I just figured if we switch the day to Sunday (if there is no hunting on Sunday) we make everyone happy.
RI is smaller than CT and I know hunting in CT is a pain when it comes to state land, so as a hunter I need to give them the courtesy.
I also figure the hunters wouldn't be that stupid to hunt next to construction but I've seen dumber things.

That's the thing with such small hunting grounds, you can't get away from the trail.
