It only choked out once and that was when I gave it gas. After that, it just idled at around 500 RPMs and sputtered. I drove about 5-6 miles and it seemed to be fine. After reading your post, I went and double checked and my resting RPMs were about 700-800, so I think everything is fine. I guess it just took a while for the ECU to reset

nice, glad it's working. I'm still trying to figure mine out :p

been trying to get my uncle to scan it with his Snap-On scanner to see if I messed with the TPS when I manually moved the plate :(

What plate did you move? If you go to Advanced Auto, they'll scan it for free.

the butterfly plate. since I have the ECTS 03+ TB it's more sensitive I'm guessing.

I've used their scanner before and it's ok for trouble codes but more in depth with voltages and detailed reports.

03+ had an electronic throttle assist instead of the IAC piece. and i mixed two letters, ETCS (Electronic Throttle Control System). The butterfly plate is the round disc inside the TB, aka flap, and w/e else people call it. It's connected to a motor/gear at the rear of the TB housing that is our cruise control (no 3 cables over the TB, just one) I'm at work otherwise I would spend time looking up my old posts on it

No need...I was just curious. You had to deal with all that for a cd player install?
