    Now why didn't I come across these sooner?

    These are 11" long stainless steel tie wraps. Very handy for many uses.
    To secure you will need some long nose pliers.
    Seems like a very handy off road trip item. Maybe secure a torn boot or hold something together that plastic won't.
    I bought a bag of 100 for $10.

    Right now two are holding my front camera mounted just below the bumper and two holding an American flag pole on the holder in my front yard.
