After reading all the horror stories on here, I was dreading going in to my local dealership to get a list of minor things addressed. Here is what I had on my list of complaints:

Leaf spring squeak, diff howl, software update for manual transmission, and some paint defects

They had my truck for about four hours, and the service advisor came back saying parts were ordered to do the TSB's for both the leaf spring squeak and diff howl. She then said they couldnt do the update for the ECU since it was a manual. I asked if I could talk with the tech, who was super chill. After showing him both TSB's and how the manual ECU Calibration is listed on both, he agreed to do the update for TSB-025-18.

They took my truck back in, applied the update, and the collision shop took photos to send it to Corporate to. Now for the best part: While i was waiting the service manager was admiring my Ray10's. I told him that (ironically) I am considering going back to stock or possibly some other OEM wheel. They had some sets of stock 4Runner take offs for sale in the showroom for $350, and the manager said he has 35 sets that he cant get rid of. He told me that he would give me a set FOR FREE! He even loaded them into the truck while they were working on it. Absolute best experience I have ever had at a dealer!

New software update is awesome! No more bucking in first gear, 1-2 shift is like butter, and overall it requires less effort to drive. I dont feel like I have to do every shift perfect, its much more forgiving. Power delivery is much improved also.

Why would you go back to rims with positive offset ... RAY10’s are perfect offset.

Like the offset, but I’m debating on the color combo I have on my truck. Plus there are other mods I would rather do and selling the Rays would free up some cash

Service manager said that he can’t get rid of them. They are take offs from new trucks that were replaced with aftermarket by SE Toyota

That's good to hear. Can you tell us what corporate says about the paint? I'm very curious.
