I used to have a Lazerlite lid on my F-150 that I liked very much - but they're out of business.

Considering the Diamondback - because I like the idea of being able to pile stuff on top. Photos of the SE model seem like it doesn't lay flat end to end - the ends are just a bit higher than the middle - so in profile that's kind of a v shape. The photos of the HD don't seem to have that problem. A minor thing, but it kind of bugs me. Is the HD heavier so the top cover is in alignment with the bed rails?

Also, how dry is the bed with the Diamondback?

    Thanks.

I looked at both the SE and the HD. The cover is the same the only difference is the HD has a few more supports welded in. The SE has one for each panel. The HD has two. I had a Diamondback SE since 2005 on my previous truck. The cover keeps your bed very dry. Has a nice weather strip on each panel.

Thanks, I'm going to get one. The latest ones have blacked-out hardware too, which looks great.
