1st timer here.. but my 2nd Toyota truck. But back in the days they didn't have threads and forums like this! Glad to be part of the Taco community.. Got the Taco bug when vacationing in Hawaii. I saw a lot of OR and Sport. I wanted a Taco but something different. Went to the dealership and saw this and the rest was history.. Just 2 weeks in with my new 2019 TRD Pro!! In the 12 days of Xmas I added exterior and interior lighting, MBRP dual exhaust, Prinsu roof rack and a partridge in a pear tree. for now..

Hey Impoy47, nice Pro. Love the way the Prinsu looks with the Desert Air.
Do you mine showing some close up pics of the the rack and snorkel. I want to get the Prinsu as well.

Yah sure.. I asked Prinsu about a bracket but to no avail. I gave them pics and my suggestions. For now I could not use the OEM snorkel bracket and instead used spacers in between by drilling 2 holes in the Prinsu side rail.. for now. I'm looking into making a bracket in the near future.. here is front, rear, and behind the Prinsu side rail pics.

Looks decent, maybe a nice aluminium bracket would polish it up.
Knew it would be some thing like that, but was not sure if the the rack would be too wide.
I appreciate the pics, now I will definitely buy the rack. :)

I have installed 2 safari in the pass on my Hilux.

Nice Hilux bro. Did you get that overseas? Nice set up.. you still have it? And congrats on your Voodoo Pro. Lots of projects coming up!

Fyi on the Prinsu.. When you install the rack, make sure your rack is attached and set on your roof before making the holes for the spacers. Hole alignments will change on you. Unless you have a tool to make an adjustable hole to align to the DAI. like how Prinsu attach their crossbars. You'll know when you get your rack. the DAI has no flexibility and it was a fight to align the bolt from rack to DAI. I'll send pics from the siderailshole attachment. And the bracket I'm working on.. But like I said a bracket would be the best way to go.. Good luck and enjoy your Voodoo Pro..

I wanna see your future upgrades and see what I can add on to mine.. haha

Great info and pictures man. Thanks.

My voodoo projects will be very slow (budgetary conflict, lol). All i did so far were Weather Tech mats.
On the Prinsu, good to hear the DAI it's very rigid. A slotted bracket will to way to go, room for adjustment.

Yes I miss my Hilux a lot, those were when I lived in South America. Hilux's were all diesel.
Here is some Hilux love (-: this is in the Amazon forest, and border town of Bonfim, Brazil and Lethem, Guyana....

    Open to suggestions
    Hey all,

First time tacoma owner and new vehicle owner, all at once. Loving my Taco!! I'm hoping to browse the threads here and get a better idea of how I can keep my truck running well through the years and miles. I'm in salty New York State and plenty concerned about vehicle rot. Also hoping to get some ideas for upgrades and mods. I can't go crazy putting money into my truck but would like to make it a little more personalized. Any suggestions on threads I should start with?

Anyways, cool place to talk Tacoma.
