WE never got coats or jackets if it snowed in Michigan on Halloween! We were just let loose like always, and if it was too cold or messy, you just got less candy! Even my little sister never chickened out!

 

We used to do “trunk or treat” in the church parking lot, still got to do a little decorating and in a friendly, well lit environment. No stranger danger.

Shit's bad for you, and you can buy leaf springs within two months of quitting.

It’s a very northern thing. You can also hit a LOT of stores in a short amount of time. Great hauls.

 

Leaf springs on a first gen tundra would mean I'd have to custom order the leafs and the rear shocks. I'd rather just go progressive aal and 5160s. Plus I doubt 2 months would be enough savings when I only smoke about 4 packs a week and the gum is like 50 bucks a pack

 

Just saw a small dark animal crossing the road about 20 yards ahead of me... Not sure what it was. I saw a bobcat the other morning

 

It's figurative. $25 a week in packs, is $100 a month (minimum). So, if gum is once a month at $50, $150 a month. $300 in two months back in your pocket. Not to mention the health benefits. No "I quit" preaching, I used a CARTON a week habit (back when a carton was $25!) to justify paying for a better truck. Never regretted it.

 

Those are hard on bumpers. I hear they have blood like acid and can eat tires.

 

Hell since I'm at this post with no designated smoking area for the next 8 nights and since I mostly smoke at work and when I drink, I may just try to quit. We shall see. I'm gunna need to buy more nicotine gum tomorrow regardless

Man I'm only 1/3 into the shift and I'm already going stir crazy in this damn van. Thank God for TW... It's gunna suck when your non vampires go to bed.

 

Thinking I'm gunna hit Kroger in the morning since they open when I get off and try to snag up some discount Halloween chocolate candy
