Hahaha! You never really quit, you just stop.

I haven’t had a cigarette in 8 years, but the temptation to start again is still there.

It gets better by week 3. Those first 10 days, though, are a real bear.

Lord, 7:30 PM and not one trick-or-treater.

    Rain kept them away.

God, this is a lot of candy.

Well fuck me, was down to putting my last tire on and I took a break because they are heavy as hell ~200lbs per rim / tire. Went inside to get some water and came out to see the truck had slipped off the jack.. now the stupid thing is wedged between track bar and axle. Going to try taking the jack apart tomorrow or maybe unbolting track bar. Worst case scenario this gives me an excuse to pick up a plasma torch and I'll blow through the jack.

Was going to work on getting it out tonight but it's raining like all hell outside and super windy.

Luckily I had another floor jack and I was able to get it back up off the rotor. Track bar might be bent not sure yet but rotors are good since it fell onto dirt.

Was really hoping to be done with suspension stuff tonight so I could get back to the finishing fiberglass so I could send it off to paint.

It is. We’re a 34 home self-managed HOA, which means we don’t put up with a lot of crap and we don’t pay anyone to do for us what we’re already doing. Now if we could only get the city to stop trying to double the tax value of the homes every year...

Have thought about it but not sure if it's worth it. I have an attached garage and the detached shop / garage in the pic that's also a 2 bay / door deal. I pulled inside for the lift but wanted more room to get the tires on and that's why I had it on the driveway.

Hey Austin peeps, my lodge is having an open house and breakfast social on the 10th. If you've ever been interested or curious about what freemasonry is (it is NOT the Illuminati, unlike what the movies say) or like giant home-cooked breakfasts, please come on out and give us a look. It's a cool old lodge and a really great group of brothers, and we'd love to break fast and enjoy fellowship with any who would like to come.
