Is it just me or does anybody else think these don't ride very good? Yes they are smooth and quiet but it seems the truck is constantly wanting to go one way or another. Swaying if you will.

Where I live it's all highway or gravel no traffic or city miles. So I'm always driving 60 or so. But at interstate speeds 70+ it rides a lot straighter.

Or maybe I'm just dying for some k02s :notsure:

put 35k on the stock goodyears. No issues in a AC TRD. If you think the stockers are a bad ride, good luck with those K02s.

The wranglers I have are decent. I think it's just the way the truck handles.

Check the wear on the tires. Your alignment might be out.

Mine was (and it pulled slightly) and I wore a bald patch on the tread of one of my tires halfway into a 3000 mile trip.

I maxed out the inflation and now i'm wearing the middle out.

The alignment maybe set up for a different tire. The 245's (cant remember the brand) that came on some trucks and the 265's that came on some. There are also different rim sizes on different models. 16 on offroad and sr5, 17 on sport and I think 18 on the limited.

Yeah I honestly just think it's the truck. Before I ever bought a taco I read all how they don't handle road like all these other trucks

The off road definitely has a soft suspension. The sport is stiffer and more suitable for roads. Take your truck on super bumpy dirt roads and you will see where it shines.

That's what I was thinking. I read all about the sport is much better on roads. But I had no interest in one and I'm really happy with my OR

Why "flip"? You should just expect to have to do a good custom alignment by an alignment shop that knows what they're doing. That mean not the dealer for sure. Just consider it the cost of doing business. It'll cost you a buck to a buck and a quarter. Money well spent. When I got my truck in July, camber, caster and toe were all off and it pulled to the right, which was confirmed by the caster numbers. While you at it, buy a good torque wrench and check your lug nuts. They're supposed to be 83 lb/ft. From the factory only two of mine were there. Twenty were around 50 and two were way over 83. And finally you need to check the tire pressures with a good quality gauge to make sure they're all correct. Do not rely on the tire pressure monitors for accurate readings. They're great for relative readings and if you've got a leaky tire but still best to use a good manual gauge.

Have the dealer check the alignment. If it is aligned, you probably have a tire that is causing the issue. Flat spot, out of round, etc. At 1500 miles the dealer should replace them.
