Could you post a photo or two of your setup? There shouldn't be a major gap. It should look something like this:

This customer has the lights aimed low which makes the top of the bezel show. The minor gaps will change slightly depending on aim. Aim can be adjusted using the M6 bolt on the side of the light housing. We recommend pulling 20' from a wall and adjusting from there. The most common setup is to have the fogs lower than the low beams, but it does come down to personal preference.

There is not a major gap, only a 1/4 inch at the bottom of the bezel to fog cover. This is with the fogs aimed as far down as possible. If I level them the gap is maybe an 1/8th of inch. That picture above is not at the proper angle to show if there is a gap at the bottom of the fog bezel to fog cover. That is why I was asking other owners that have installed these to see what or if they had gaps and how they aimed there fogs.

Here are a couple more photos of the lights installed:

@Rob Daman has a video on youtube that shows the install. At around the 6:00 mark you can see a close up of the lights installed.

    Hopefully this helps :)

Perfect! this is what my "gap" looks like. not a big deal, just making sure they were expected to be flush.
PS love these lights. the output is bright!
    thanks.

I'm planning on getting a S8 to put behind the grill (lower portion) on my 3rd gen. Does anyone have a suggestion on which hidden brackets to buy?

All I know of are Caliraised ($60, steel I think) and Rago Fab ($85, stainless steel). Any recommendations between these two or another make I don't know about?

Any plans for Squadron series amber spot lens? Or is the only option to put on the amber rock guard?

No plans for a Squadron Series, Amber Spot Lens. Rock Guard is the only option we offer. A film similar to laminx might work too

I had the Apex Fab brackets, which the design/IP got bought by Caliraised, and is now produced by them. They are stout mofos. I'd recommend them again.

    @Baja Designs

Just installed your enduro ignition switch on my 01 xr400r.
Are these switches able to have the other 2 wires added to enable battery usage?

@Baja Designs I know you're at SEMA so get back to me when you can.

I just saw your LP6 announcement...awesome! I know you've said in the past that you dont reccomend the LP9 to be used as ditch lights due to size. Can the LP6 be used as ditch lights near the A pillar?

Anything can fit in the A-pillar position (including LP9 if you're gutsy enough ;);))

Personally, I think they are too large for the location. The XL Series is a perfect size.
