For you electrical wizards out there.....My turn signals didn't work properly yesterday afternoon on the drive home from work, it was daylight. What I figured out was that in the "auto" or "off" setting on the stalk, I may get one blink, but it doesn't work. When I place it in the "parking" or lights "on", the signals work just fine. Also, while in "auto" if the lights come on, the signals work fine. Background, I've had the truck for 1 year, have replaced all bulbs with LED in the first week when new, I've never had this or any other lights issue. The only thing I did recently was the afternoon before, I received and installed the MESOJDM, blackout mirror turn signals. I can't imagine that causing this behavior, as everything works fine, the turn signals work as long as the lights are on. I haven't check any fuses, but not sure how that could be the issue. The only thing I can come up with is there's something wrong with the signal/ light stalk. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

**Update** with the key on, vehicle not started, turn signals work okay in any position on the stalk, once vehicle is started, returns back to scenario that I've described....a real head scratcher now!**

I just uninstalled the MESOJDM "ultimate turn signals" and re-installed stock turn signals and everything works correctly. I'll be contacting them to get a resolution.

Based on all the issues people have had when they change any of the lights, it sounds like you're in need of some resistors. Do you have any installed already? If so, what ohm?

Basically, the more efficient LEDs don't have the same resistance as the OEM halogen bulbs and the control module freaks out and causes an assortment of functional issues.

    Good luck.

Thanks. I do have resistors, (5 ohm/50 watt) as it was required for the tail light LED turn bulbs, those have and still work properly since day 1.

Oh the pain that comes with seemingly innocent, simple mods...….

Welcome to the law of unintended circumstances. Ah, I know it well.

I hope you get this sorted quickly.

You need to change the 5OHM to a 10OHM. Or even test with no resistors at all.
Changing out all the front/rear LED's, plus adding the Mirror turns which pull a little more amperage the resistance of the truck will be off

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

I only have resistors on the tail lights, so that is what you are referring to, right? My led turns in the front did not require them.
