a few months back I installed the 5100 2.5 adjustable front coils and 5100 rear withan AAL in the rear. nothing crazy super simple run of the mill lift. what I have noticed it thought that after a few weeks of driving on the new set up I have a fairly uneven lean on the rear leafs springs. from the measurements I have gathered it looks like the rear passenger side sits a full inch lower than the rear driver. I thought it might have been my high lift I keep bolted on my passenger side truck bed but after removing it, the truck still sits at the same ride height. this is normal? or has anyone else ran across this issue? please any info will be greatly appreciated.

Not 100% sure but I think it’s the so called “taco lean”. I bet there’s a lot of threads about that issue where you can get more information.

yeah I had done some research about the taco lean but i thought that had only applied to the front end of the truck and not the rear. or did I mis read something about it? 1/4 wouldn't bother me but a full inch has me wondering

Taco lean is usually driver side lower since the gas tank, battery, etc. are all on the driver side. Kind of curious why the passenger side is sitting lower. Leaf packs reinstalled correctly?

The taco lean is on older Tacoma’s ands is on the driver side. No reason your passenger side rear is so much lower. Were the AAL installed correctly?

Maybe you didn’t install the overload leaf on the passenger’s side?

Isn't the Taco Lean on the driver side?

I would relax the rear end on both sides by loosening the U bolts and torque with the weight of the truck on it. Same for the shocks too. Good luck.

The only thing I can think of that I really cannot see is if you forgot to put in the stock axle shims on the passenger side(if you had any!). Also i don't know if it would make a difference but I would loosen the top of the shock with the vehicle on the ground and then bounce it a couple of times and then re-tighten. Like I said I don't know if that would help.

Keep in mind the terrain where you are seeing the difference in ride height. Even ground you might think is even, could not be.

Were you able to figure this out? I’m having the same issue after installing Icon coilovers.
