I just read the rules again,

    2. Take a picture of your dish with the Pitfaced BBQ logo in the frame. Something with the rub container is preferred, but not required, so feel free to use your patch, koozie, or other Pitfaced BBQ swag! The logo MUST be visible in the picture to be eligible!

The unopened bag of Pitfaced that I have doesn't have a logo on it, it is vac sealed and hard as a brick yet so still good, but you didn't put a logo on your first batches... :pout:

But guess I could get creative and lift then print out a B&W copy of the logo on my printer, not quite the same though it might make it eligible... :spy:

Hmmm...Good point. The ulterior motive for me is to get some pics I can possibly use for our site or social media pages :D, but it is really to see what people do with Pitfaced BBQ Meat Massage. If you're cooking with Meat Massage, go ahead and put your submission in this thread. We'll take your word for it ;).

I was kinda torn on which to make the key photo, but I think the early morning start is something most of us can relate to so I went with that.

Ugh. Bad timing. Spent most of the morning and afternoon fixing/ cleaning my pellet stove that quit working. Spent $120 on parts I didn’t actually need as it was just a dirty fire pot. Oh well, I have the part for when I need it now.

Now, what to smoke tomorrow? I got two things in the freezer. Maybe both.

Take them both out, NOW!

You were right. The first batch of PF that I got wasn't mixed thoroughly and that is why some things were hot and others not so much. And once in awhile something would rub my tongue raw. It was when they first started and mixing by hand.

When I broke out my other bag today and broke the vacuum seal it was still hard as a brick. Thought about what you said so ran it in my mini food processor on chop. Didn't go fine with it just broke and mixed everything up well and put in a quart jar.

OMG! Now I get it LOL. If anything it is a bit sweet and I have a sweet tooth... It is awesome!

Did a cook tonight and love it now. Have 2 chickens that I might do tomorrow on the roti. Damn near looking for an excuse to use it at this point. Rain and cold wasn't fun but it was well worth it. Supposed to keep raining tomorrow so not sure. Still stuffed and have enough left over for lunch tomorrow. But there is always supper tomorrow night.
