I told him red or black. Silver might attract too much brake dust, and be hard to clean

    Front?

if you drill to far forward you lose output since the front well backing will cover half of your output

could also mount it behind your bumper and aim it back a bit, bend some sheet metal to make it work. one of my buddies did this when he did his bd rock kit, they come with mounting brackets for that kind of thing tho

slide bottom bracket from the 4 pins holding the backing in

    - remove slowly not to pull the switch assembly, detents could go flying

screw the led in place to the faceplate and run the wiring through the earlier board contact plate

trim just enough of the board to allow sodering of the wires to the exposed contacts
    - soder the white contacts closest to the harness plug and the red one the furthest away

    ifMezErO9_3_XCbFbfmyydENTh08NrEPjbH7hPiA_cd8aa6d7ea4cb45b00291513c570be6f1e0acfeb.jpgW7DhJ2LjWIHVOIhyTyI2QdKUrnn2w2SyZtX9C16f_1e05b27287c41e159d1979a20901b0dd3b815685.jpg

using the extra supplied wire, slide the terminal ends into the black 4x4 harness, the red one next to the white wire and the white one on the end as shown

route the wiring behind the deck plate and through to the ac panel compartment

    - expose the ends of the wiring for the next step

i didnt soder for this step, i simply slid the exposed wiring into the terminal end in the plug harness

    - red goes into the green and white wire
    - white goes into the green wire just behind it

Just saw you'll change your front bumper. It's the end of a chapter... if we were closer I'd get it from you with your autograph! My truck would be a legend with @inesshell 's bumper on it!
