Is there a way to calculate the effect that certain mods will have on gas mileage and performance? For instance, what impact does an increase wheel size and weight have on gas mileage? Specifically, if I'm deciding between 31's vs. 33's with no regearing, how much difference does it really make? Same for lifting a truck -- aside from the higher cost, of course, what's the difference in gas mileage and performance between a 2.5 inch lift and a 6-inch lift?

Just wondering if several people on this forum have actually performed before/after measurements and posted them.
