Installed a couple wire harnesses I'd made up awhile ago, here's one. 66856956-A947-4A18-89CF-1F0501C195A1_zps_9b222e3f59f9fed31280c2cc4bcdc76e7863f62a.jpg
It consists of 4 awg10 GXL wires, two for seat heater power, one goes to the compressor relay, and one goes from B- to a ground buss all located in the center console behind the stick. The harness runs from the oem fuse box(preferred bussman location) down behind the driver's side wheel well and into the cab through the grommet(10:00) drilled outside the frame rail and just behind the leading edge berm where the forward front seat bolts are located. From there it runs under the seat to the center console. Another smaller harness runs from the fuse box across the firewall and down the passenger side wheel well and along the rail to the compressor and tank located in the bedwall forward of the rear tire. One of the two wires in that harness splits off going from the compressor forward to the center console from the passenger side, it carries power from the compressor relay to the compressor. The other wire is ground return for the compressor. The rest of mid day was spent installing the seat heater elements and reinstalling the Fia seat covers over them. After that we took Frances(blue healer) for a picnic hike.

Celebrated my one year ownership anniversary with my Tina the Taco. What else better to do then take it on a 14 mile gravel/mud road in severe heavy wind and rain (mtn loop hw for those in wa) at 2 30 am. (Dates idea). It was pretty sweet! Although, after that I started noticing a weird metallic pinging/rattle in reverse.... Oh, and I finally did my spark plugs. Will be much easier the second time around. Bought gear oil as well but that will have to wait til next weekend.

Did nothing. Buying parts today to do maintenance. Truck has 124,000 (so 120K service).
I'll be doing front brakes and bearing also.

There's some really great threads on here to show ya how to do it. I thought about it for a few years but didn't think I had the skills.

Popped out all 8 of the little rocker plugs and filled it with the good stuff on both the driver and passenger side :cookiemonster:

I'm only running a 275/70R17. So I didnt THAT much room. I figured if I needed more gone in the future I'll cut it back even more.

Check your VIN on Toyota's website. As far as lifts go, I just think that there's an extra charge to it, not that it completely knocks out out of the warranty...

That being said, the stealership said they can't fix the truck because they don't have the hardware for the leaf springs... :annoyed:

Nice, I literally needed less than 1/4 inch of room on the tip of the corner.
