    Synthetic winch line. = Light weight.

    Yours deserves an aluminum skid.

    All 3 pieces of my skids are aluminum. They've hit things a few times....no damage. They DO make loud noises when dragged across rock. Louder'n steel. Light as can be. I'd buy aluminum again. Just not Pelfrybilt.

    Winch = "Get out of jail FREE" card if you wheel.
