    Hey Taco Wisco sorry I didnt get back to you sooner, been out of service for a while. Its one of those hitch bed extenders, bought it at etrailers.com for about $130. Went on a weekend trip with my kayaks as shown In the pictures and the rack held up great. Drove about 200 miles that weekend and those are 13 foot kayaks. Here are a couple more pics so you can get a better look, highly recommend this hitch.

    No worries. I think this would work well for me. And, it would be less expensive than the Thule Xporter that I was looking at. Thanks for the info and the pics!
