    Yeah on dangerous drives with Scott Brady in it. That's a good episode. Did you notice how much the wheels bent sideways when they used it as an anchor to winch the disco up? I wonder if the Taco would bend THAT much.

    That was just because they were aired down. Any tire would do that. I was disappointed that they didn't bring chains though.

    It looked like the whole rim was bending sideways meaning something on the axle was bending?

    The top of the tire is bent out I think it bent the whole damn thing.

    I think the tire deflecting exaggerates it but I think it's still bending somewhat.

    What you are seeing is the aired down tire deflecting and the suspension flexing to lateral force.

    Unless there has been a recent press release to indicate that they have decided to dust of the plans for the Gladiator, no they are not getting back into the pickup market. That picture is of the Gladiator Concept that had originally been green lighted back in '04 or '05, only to be cancelled.

    I like it - alot. Had Jeep built it, I would have bought one to replace the Isuzu instead of the Tacoma.
