Hood Scoop Plate Issue

    WeatherTech Floor Mats, Extra D-Rings.
    Got a '08 AC TRD Off Road and it didn't have the hood scoop plate (part 8). I ordered it and picked it up the other day. On the top side of the plate it has two lips and I can see where they're supposed to go on the scoop guide (part 7 on above link).

    I install it fine, but keep waiting for a "snap" or something to let me know the lips of the plate are in the guide because it's quite loose/insecure and will fall out eventually while driving.

    Anyone else have this problem or am I completely blind and totally missing something for the install?
