Same idea. Big hit in the rear it helps soften it and protect your rear shocks.

If you don't drive super fast a lot not super needed but nice to have. Have a heavy foot? Would recommend.

Or, just use an Adel clamp. You can get them at Lowe's.

Even on slower crawling type terrain I can tell the difference between the stock rear bumps and the Wheeler's Superbumps if you come down hard enough on them. I don't do much go-fast stuff myself but even if you do occasionally take a fire road at higher speed, it's nice to have softer bumps in the rear. Makes all the difference when you hit that unexpected or surprisingly big bump or rut.

I agree that I noticed a bigger difference when I changed out the fronts but the rears where a good idea, too.

What Blackdawg said & you risk dearching your leafs if you over flex them often if you have enough shock travel that they don't bottom out.

I got them to to soften up my ride. I don't flex much, the superbumps felt too hard but they're not rock hard like the stock bumps.

I'll be selling my superbumps soon if anyone is interested. I can even machine larger spacers if you need something bigger than what Wheelers offers.

If anything I think the Superbumps are too big...I need to trim mine down one of these days. I can see via the dust mark on my rear Icons where the Superbumps are pretty severely limiting my usable travel

Good point & is why I never bought spacers for them. I was more worried about dearching my leafs. I'm more a go fast guy then flex. I really need to just go LT.

You can see in my pic above that with the superbumps I'm not really overflexing the leafs.

Oh man even just bumping down over a rock or something can jounce you into the bumps for a second, I did a lot of that on my last little outing but I didn't have bumps so I let the Kings play amateur bumpstop haha. Anyway going fast can really rocket that axle up there quick too but I'm always amazed at what seemingly small stuff can do it

You can get by without special tools too, you only need to place the wire and lug in the crack of the cement floors and hammer it with a philips bit or something similar.

My buddy de arched his expo leafs this weekend on a trail. So now im trying to get my bumpstops right lol because I dont want to do that to my Alcans. I am running a 3.5" lift in the rear. I thought the durobumps would compress more, but I just found out they only compress .75" so Ill actually be fine I think with the 5.25".

    I have mods
Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I finally found a crimper. Working on the cables now.

Any issue with running the main body ground wire from the battery to the core support instead of the fender?

That's a good point. Maybe with overloads having taller bumps is not so much of an issue? I think the super bumps may just limit travel in that case depending on the leaf pack. That looks like they would be negative arching to me though if the overloads weren't there. My Deavers don't have overloads & is why I was worried about them negative arching.

It is all dependent on the leaf pack and shocks.
