Speaking of little, installed a mod that I really started to miss that I had on my 1st gen. The hoods on the 3rd gens are huge and a pain to put on the prop rod when you’re short. And then of course @RedlineTuning had to go and do a 20% off discount code. So now these are on the truck.

Highlighter yellow or tennis ball green? I think they're cool too :p

We were supposed to do the Mojave Road this past weekend, but the guy that was leading it unfortunately had to back out. So instead we did an impromptu North Rim trip with a couple other guys. Was perfect for a stock truck like mine. Will post the few pictures I took later.

The only issue is that with the RTT and all the camping gear I was pretty loaded down and bottomed out the rear suspension 3-4 times. Considering doing an add-a-leaf for a temporary solution and maybe upgrading the bump stops as well. Don't really want to throw a ton of money into the suspension right now, but not sure what would be the best solution for now.

How did you like the tent?

I'm liking it a lot. I can definitely tell the difference in quality with this tent. Feels much sturdier and is a thicker material.

The only thing that I'd guess you would call a complaint is that I'm still learning how to best adjust the telescoping ladder so that it's not at different distances between every single rung as you go down. It's annoying trying to get out as the sun is just coming up and you're still half asleep and the rung is way closer or farther than you expected haha

Ah, that makes sense. My ladder doesn't have adjustable rungs. The whole ladder just slides up and down at the halfway point, so I had to drill extra holes for it to snap into for different heights.

I had nowhere near enough room to keep both. The main reason I got rid of the 1st gen is because I didn't want to keep throwing money into something that doesn't have room for kids if/when the time comes. Plus I really like the 3rd gens so it was a good excuse haha

Good point, only reason I got my 3rd gen as well. Need 4 doors for life and stuff

Going to try to keep my 1st gen but I'm about to redo the suspension on it and throwing money at it to not get back sucks

Having leds in my 1st gen spoiled me so I installed these Meso Customs map lights a little bit ago. Still need to get the dome light when it comes back in stock, but the map lights alone make it much easier to see in the cab at night. Just don’t look directly at them and you won’t go blind... Haha

Haha right. I've just gotten into the habit of setting it any time I park. Mainly because our driveway is on an incline.
