High mileage ICONs?

How many miles are on your ICONs without a rebuild (specifically front coilovers)? I know they have a recommended rebuild milage.. but it's a should.. not a shall.. so.. let's hear it!

 

I know the recommended is 50k but most likely can go a bit more if you don’t off-road a lot

 

Don't know about mileage but my Donahoes lasted about 12yrs before they started leaking.

 

I bought a set with about 20k on them from a buddy. Needed more love and a good cleaning then anything else.. no signs of leaking.. and no sagging on his 2nd gen.

 

Oops not 7 yrs, more like 11-12 yrs. IIRC I got my DRs back in 2006, Icon didn't exist yet. I put on new Icons earlier this year.

 

That's crazy man.. talk about quality!!

 

But to be fair for 5-6 yrs I didn't go offroading at all, just trips to Pismo once a year during that time but yeah, still I got pretty good life out of them so I'm happy. Which reminds me I need to get the DRs rebuilt.

The DRs were $950 back then from Wheelers. I paid $1150 this year for the Icons from Wheelers.
