Just did the 5100's on my truck, with the 2" headstrong coils... Came pre-assembled.. probably took 3 hours to do all 4 corners..

I heard mixed feed back on running on the 5th Notch, some people talk about poor ride quality, that's why I changed out the coils.

Nice to hear that its easy, I have installed coilovers and springs on some of my old cars so it shouldn't be hard,
also I heard the same about the 5th notch issue

Drakar pack will make the ass end too high ?

    Welcome to TW!

When are you looking to do this?

    I'm in League City too.

Nope. In fact, it's generally recommend that you don't.

    Maybe.

The Dakars without the overload leaf should be fine without much of a rake. Or a stiff AAL like you said, but I think Dakars will be okay.

Once you install (or uninstall) a suspension lift, you'll quickly identify tools you'll need. After a couple installations and you'll be replacing coilovers and UCAs without thought.

The yellow Daytona floor jack from HF and I are best buddies. Love that thing.

Prob next weekend since I need to reorder a extended 5100 for the rear since I am going to install a full dakar leaf spring in the rear. I accidentally ordered the regular 5100 for rear.
