A tuning thinghy that fits into the OBd II port.
I figured will give it a shot. If I do't like it, I have 30 day trial period on it. A much cheaper version of Pedal commander. I will keep everyone posted.

It's a box that plugs into the obd2 port. Then some leds flash and in your mind you think that the truck drives better and gets better mpg.

I didn't see any bad input on this forum about it. Like said: have the choice to return if I don't like what it does and move on to pedal commander .
Unfortunately, I can't move to real mods for a while, bc of the warranty (i'm still under 2k mi). My wife's Camry is at 22k mi and the factory Cd player crapped out on us and it will be replaced at dealer next week!:annoyed:
So I don't wanna risk it bef the warranty expires
But, for the next yr, I've turboing on my mind...:D

I tried to not reply here, but I apologize that I couldn't resist.

There have been posts about BT OBD adapters causing christmas trees to happen. You snagged a $20 tool that is going to potentially adjust settings in your ECU because you don't want to screw up your warranty? This isn't adding up to me?

Note that they are guaranteeing their product, not your ECU. ;)

The warnings lights flash on like a christmas tree. Or, potential to brick the Taco.

Thx for replying. I did a search, but maybe I didn't use the right terms for it. That's what I posted here bc I want input. And I wanted that input before I install it. That will not be touching my OBDII port if proven otherwise.
According to their advert, the chip doesn't void the warranty. If that's not true, they will be reported to ebay. Keep it coming, plz!

I thought the red was for diesel vehicles and yellow for gasoline vehicles. I hope I am wrong.

Cool! I didn't want to offend.

Yes. According to what's been posted about tuning, the dealers can't tell that a tune is installed, but if your bricked that is a different story.

Good on you to search first. I would certainly look for verified feedback from other Taco / Toyota owners.
