This year ??? So sometime next spring based on your weather out there then ?

I guess if they are good they are worth waiting for but if your that far behind maybe an expansion is in order business, equipment and employees dependent of course..

This is the email I received from the . Asphalt people.

    Dan:

With all the wet and cold weather we have had this Fall , it has been very difficult for us to keep on schedule.
We are nearing the end of our season and unfortunately we will not be able to complete your driveway this year anymore.
We will put you on our schedule for next year at the same price and make sure it gets done early in the season.
Please confirm that this works for you, and I apologize for any inconvenience to you.
If you have any questions, please let me know.

    thank you

Well at least you got an IOU. Best time for asphalt in our neck of the woods is late spring or early summer. Ground isn’t saturated, not ungodly hot for the installers.

I don't think it would be very good. I kinda wonder if it's at that limit where it wouldn't almost be better to have an end dump trailer. He doesn't have to have it absolutely flat but they load him tail heavy too so that weight doesn't carry too high while he's dumping. He was only in 2 rotations today, not sure what happened (if anything).

Like all vacations, this last one came with a price. Been back to work 3 days and so far pulled a normal 10, a 12 and an 11 hour days. The only good thing is when the contract was written for the rock hauling it says no work on holidays. The sub has been pushing his drivers and wants to give them a break so we're pushing to not work Saturday so I may screw around and get a 3 dayer out of this. And even though Monday is Veteran's Day, I may go ahead and work it just to nail some double OT...we'll see.

I do worry about that... I traded in a Subaru to them with this very issue, cosmetic damage that showed up on the record. I believe they are taking it to a very good shop, so really hope for no bondo! but not sure how much they would have to paint, as there is not good place to stop until the cab... there goes my factory paint! The letter is a good idea.
