Not sure if this is the right thread but I have a 2011 4.0 with around 173k on the motor. I have installed a catch can due to what I think is massive blow by. After about 5k miles its down about 2 qts of oil and the catch can had quite a bit in it so I am assuming blow by and some is getting burnt? I emptied the can topped off fluid then did about a 100mi trip and the can had about a tablespoon of oil in it and the dipstick still showed good. I am thinking piston rings? Going to attempt a leak down test and see but any thoughts? If the motor is dying should I rebuild it or get a re manufactured motor(from who)? Last few changes since I noticed a little blow by have been Bosch filters 5qt of Mobile 1 full synthetic 5W-30 and a bottle of hyper lube. My old cats died presumably from burning oil and getting clogged so I replaced them and threw in some headers that warped and are causing an exhaust leak that I really need to fix by getting new headers but not sure if that could be causing a lean condition making it easier to burn oil?
EDIT: I have never really noticed any smoke out of the exhaust either.

I would recommend sending an oil sample from your next oil change to Blackstone labs. Based on the oil analysis, they can point towards weakening points in your engine.
