Thanks for asking. From my knowledge the Gen2 (2005-2015) sliders have slight different mounting than Gen3 (2016-2019) sliders. Do to the Tacoma's frame on the Gen3 the sliders requiring a spacer plate on the front mount.

I know for fact the gen2 slider can not fit on the gen3 because they are missing the plate and the mounting length difference

Will the gen3 slider fit on the gen2? Maybe, but I am no 100% positive on that at the moment. Perhaps some Tacoma pro members will chime in and help. I would assume they would fit (may need slight modification)which would broaden the sale of these sliders but as of now I certainly know they fit 2016-present Tacomas. The spacer plates help the sliders clear the weld on gen3 Tacoma frame.

I will see if I can confirm on the fitment

    thanks

These are great sliders fabricated by SOS who provides great product, customer service and support through TW. Long story short we have 3 Tacomas in the family and work on many Toyotas locally. We bought some sliders and these were test fitted on the trucks, fittment was great, then removed for paint. Before painting plans changed so we would like to sell. Nothing wrong with the the sliders. My lost your gain situation. You can save on the slider price along save on shipping cost!

    Thanks

It’s tough to find DCLB sliders. If you ever consider shipping them let me know, I’d be down to buy them if it saves any amount of money and lead time. Zip is 63011

After some research and being in contact with Eddy of SOS Concepts, these gen3 sliders will fit on a gen2 (2005-15)Tacoma DCLB. However most of the bolt holes of the sliders will line up with the gen2 Tacoma’s frame but some mounting holes may not line up completely and need to drilled on the sliders mounting frame.

With slight modification you can save some quite a bit on new sliders over original pricing and shipping, also no lead time ready for pick up.

So that there is no confusion, these sliders will fit directly on Gen3 (2016-2019) Tacoma no modifications needed. For gen2 slight mounting hole drilling may be needed.

    Thanks
