Here’s a tip when cleaning inside or exterior glass. I’m sure it’s been said before on these forums. No matter what product you use , don’t use rags, towels , microfiber or what ever that has gone through the dryer with dryer sheets. Dryer sheets leaves a residue on things in your dryer . The residue is kind of oily, greasy and will be transferred to the glass you are cleaning. It leaves a kind of film on the glass. So wash and dry your rags, towels etc. without dryer sheets.

If the window has a built up film, use a good glass cleaner like Invisible Glass. Work the build up loose with very fine steel wool (000 or 0000) then polish with a microfibre towel.

Happens EVERY TIME I clean windows. Someone rides in it and taps/fingers the windows to point. I literally scream inside my head.

No mods - just all the adventure gear in the back
+2 on the cat nose art. The dog creates the snot pinstripe on the outside of the vehicle. Geez, this series of posts had me laughing.

Cut & broke off some stuff.
So how about the film left by people smoking? I started with rubbing alcohol. It worked but took lots of scrubbing and my black seats look like they're covered in stripper glitter now.

Try a tablespoon of dawn and water about 16 oz. Clean the window with news paper because the ink forms a polish when it gets wet. This works well on certain types of glass but doesn't work to well of German vehicles. For some reason I don't know why, but a Magic eraser with Windex is good followed up with the newspaper to polish the glass.

Sprayway>steelwool>newspaper on the windshield inside and out. All other interior windows i delete the steelwool step. I detailed cars all through highschool and into college and sprayway and newspaper is the best.

I have used Invisible Glass and Spray Away before and they are both good products, but I now use Hope`s Perfect Glass available at Lowes home stores. Easy to use and no streaks.
