Got my 2012 TRD OR about a month ago. Put new wheels on it last week, other than that it's stock.

Since Im out here in UT I really would like to get into offroading, my problem is I dont have any friends to go with to learn more about it.

So anyone that has some suggestions let me know!

    What are the ABSOLUTE essentials?
-Do I need a lift to be able to offroad? I have tires a little bigger than stock, but no lift yet
-Do I need rock sliders/other armor?
    -Do I need maxtrax?
    -Do I need a winch?

I'd hate to get stuck somewhere so anyone out here in UT willing to show me the ropes, let me know!taco.jpg

Welcome and grats on the purchase!

The only thing you NEED to offroad:
    Shovel
    Tow straps
    Basic tools
    A buddy in another 4x4

Go at it with the least amount of "upgrades" as possible so you can learn how to off road and add on as necessary.
