I just purchased a new to me 2016 4runner. I am looking for recommendations on a good odor eliminating product for the interior. Not just carpets but safe and effective on hard surfaces also.

    Thank you

What is the odor? Is it mildew/mold or cigarette smoke??

I’d start with changing the cabin air filter if you haven’t already. As far as the product goes, I’ve used an odor eliminator from chemical guys that worked well.

My guess is it's a cleaner they used on it. Not smoke or pet odor. I will get the cabin filter.

Get the carpets and seats steam cleaned. Don’t use chemical products to remove chemical product smells.

A good interior steam clean at a detailer is not very expensive and is the ideal way to remove odors as steam cleaning actually sanitizes.

You can also have your air vents steamed as well.
