    I just looked on car-part.com and the wreckers around me want about $2000-3500 for a 2TR. Mileage ranges from 30k-100k+. Even pushing 150k+ miles they're still asking $1000-2000.

    Yeah you got lucky. Would of been a sin not to buy it. Blown headgasket motors are the best to get since you need to pull it apart anyways.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
    Better check the surface for warping. Also check the head for cracks.

    Issue with engines that have blown heads is the owner was probably being an idiot. Especially at 70k miles.

    Hey guys. So I've been on and off with the idea of turboing. I have decent welding and mechanical skills. But I have never built a turbo setup from scratch.

    Few things to aid in my research.

    My buddy had a td06 turbo. I'd that going to be to small. I'm not planning on going all out. Yet

    Also what are most of you doing for computers.
    Are you guys running standalones. Or are there other options for the Tacoma.
