I mean Those tracks are similar to the tracks we mount the racks to on shells so it should work if you find the right drop in tnuts.

I've had this fasteners on my Amazon wish list for a while (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00869NX2E), got this link from this thread. These apparently are able to put in the crossbars without the need to unfasten the ends (I have the older style crossbars that don't have the openings for carriage bolts without undoing the crossbars).

I'm thinking of using it with a plano case for easy on and off. Has anyone done this? any suggestions on bolts to use?

Just wondering if anyone did use them and if they think it'll work or not.

The key with those T-nuts is to get just the right length bolt. Too long and you will run it into the bottom of the bar. Other than that they work great, put them in on their side then just rotate them to face up

Hey guys, first post... This has probably been addressed before but could I still have have full tilt function of my moonroof with a Prinsu rack installed, or would it hit the rack?

You just have to make sure not to place a crossbar where the moonroof tilts up towards the back end of it. If you put it right over the highest point of the tilted moonroof, you might have a problem. The crossbar positions are adjustable foreward and backward.

Perfect, thanks @Hextall. Any deals on them right now? Thought I'd ask.

Check out CBI's facebook page, I follow them and they will have sales randomly on lots of their products including the Prinsu Roof Racks. They may include a black Friday deal with them this year. So it would be good to keep an eye out for that. They have a TW account and have a vendor thread here somewhere too if you don't have a facebook.

    Bone stock as of now.
Has anyone tried mounting their surfboards on top of this rack? Debating whether to pull the trigger on a prinsu rack, otherwise i'll just keep putting my boards in the cargo bed... Pics would be appreciated.

    EDIT: SOLD

If anyone needs a punch for the roof molding I’ll ship it out for $10, shipping included. Used just the one time to install my Prinsu, don’t think I’d ever need it again. Should be much cheaper than buying off Amazon.

Shoot me a message if interested.

If I already have the Tacoma 2017 cab prinsu rack without the light cutout do you sell just the fairing that has the light cut out? I am thinking about swapping out if it is possible and cost effective.
    Thanks
