    of course man

I'll probably be placing another order here soon actually. Thinking I might try and knock out some front suspension and steering maintenance while I'm at it. I plan on putting it on stands for a week or so while the wheels are being finished and I can mount the tires when they are done... and do the blocks, wheel studs, brakes, etc. while its in the air. I'm sure I will find other things, so I was just going to do it.. lol tierods, balljoints and do a flip at that point, who knows what else. Honestly its going to be all new to me.. so I'll dive in again and learn it like everything else.

Been playing with the idea of an EFI conversion.. but maybe I should just get the carb rebuilt/tuned first

    definitely fun!

yeah, and I saw LCE's kits too. that's what I'm weighing.. cost/gain for EFI conversion vs Carb vs just a motor swap. Eventually this will get boost too.. so just wanting to get a good starting point. with the cost of a conversion, and then still needing to build the motor more for a little boost out of the 22 block.. a full motor swap is sounding more my style. I'll probably just get the Carb tuned and roll with it until I'm to that point of building it up more, then just do a motor swap and boost.

If I did a motor swap, I'd go with the 2.7. A V8 swap would just start breaking other parts.

it'll be a turbo 4 banger or a v8... with boost. I'm talking long term here.. it WILL be my track/drift truck.

If that's the end plan, I'd start with building up the rear axle first with disk brakes, Maybe a ford 9" swap. Doing the engine first is putting the carriage before the horse.

naaaaaah. throw in a Tru-Trac and call it a day! dont fix it if its not broken! if and when that time comes.. then it will be upgrades.

I feel like the theme of this truck is going unnoticed.

rat truck.. function over form.. dirty and ready to party.

That's the description of my truck, but I get away the 4cyl because of the 4.7 low range and future dual cases.

Your truck is in too nice of shape to be a rat. I can see more of a sleeper. Lowered Mini truck.
It would hurt my soul if you dent a side panel as you drift into a wall.
