No way to get a wrench in there. This is the easiest way.
That’s not including fluid film or anything. Just a steering rack, saw, blades, and new hardware.

Try a grinder instead of a sawzall? Throwing spark are fun just make sure you are not sitting on an oil soked blanket. Experience fixing a broken torsion bar mount right after i fixed the oil pan on a trail in death valley. My daughter saved the truck but i got burned badly.

    WTF!?!

The last rack to take a dump on you got you an impact wrench so I guess some good comes from the rack tragedy

There’s no way to get an angle grinder in there. I had to buy a long sawzall blade so it could bend into position. I managed to get it.

My IFS skid is touching my front diff apparently. I’m now on @stairgod level.

Got those nuts welded in. Not pretty but it’ll hold.

Pulled and cleaned my winch line. Will let it dry and respool it tomorrow.

I traded my Tundra for a 4RT and was happier than a pig in shit, until I got tired of not having the bed cramming things into it. I got rid of the 4RT for the Taco and while the interior is smaller, having a bed is worth the trade off. In a perfect world I would have both, a truck and a SUV.
