Hey all, I had an issue with my L fog light. It died. Toyota replaced it and said it looked like water got in the connection area. I just got in my truck today and it looks like both of them are dead now. The fuse appears fine.

FWIW, I added a HID conversion kit to my regular low beams last year. One of the bulb is funky and doesn't always turn on. When I had the issue with the first fog light, the funky HID bulb was on the driver's side. After toyota replaced the fog light, I put my HID kit back in and apparently the funky HID bulb was installed on the passenger side this time.

Wondering if maybe this modification has anything to do with my TRD Pro rigid industries lights going out.

    Thoughts?

How long have you had your truck, running the rigids all the time or sporadically?
I'm not sure if the Fogs share power source with Head lamps or not but if so I suppose its possible. I've been running my Rigids, weekly as needed (in fog and on rural roads) for over 2 years now with no problems..

I can’t imagine Toyota would run the fogs on the low beam headlight circuit. Safety issue.

I have been running my fog lights for the past year and a half no issue but they are not the RIGID brand

I have run mine pretty much since I bought it with no issue. No mods though...

First off, never trust a fuse by looks alone. You will eventually realize that they can blow and appear intact. Try switching it out.

But aren't the fogs connected to the low beam circuit? Isn't that why the anytime mod doesn't work?
So if the low beams are not on (or a funky HID kit is making them flicker) the fogs don't come on?

I don't know - I put my Squadrons on relays through the highbeams..
