I know there’s a couple threads about this out there, however I’m just wondering if anyone could share any photos or experiences they’ve had with an aftermarket head unit. I’m doing some research looking at the pioneer 4400 or pioneer 8400 with wireless Apple CarPlay. It’s quite expensive and before I pull the trigger I was hoping that someone out there has already done so. If you have please share any photos or writeups you might have about it.

    Thanks

Since aftermarket head units are pretty much universal, a simple google search will answer your questions way better than tacomaworld ever would.

I’m just reaching out to others to see if they would’ve done something different or what they would recommend.

If you guys are using the regular radio (FM) on the 8400, then get a text on your phone and use the carplay to answer it does it switch to your phones audio or back to the radio once you're done with the text? My brothers Accord will just stay on the phones audio and won't switch back to FM unless you do it manually. It's maddening
