I have seen a lot of info on different remote starts. 1st question: is there any concern of factory warranty if I purchase and install myself? Also looking for suggestions on plug and play, also looking to use my current factory key fob and have the push to start. I have looked at MPC brand on Amazon and also 12volt solutions on their website. Has anyone used the mpc brand....thoughts?

Just so you know. 12v is a great seller. But the 12v starters are not actually made by 12v. They use all different brands, Fortin, Directed, etc. I believe they just make up the plug and play harnesses. But they are a standup company.

I bought a plug and play Fortin for $139 on Amazon back in October works perfectly off the key fob. I had originally purchased one from 12 volt solutions but they never shipped it called emailed with no response from them had to contact Discover card to get my money back.

I have the 12.Volt Solutions Remote Start, works perfectly. I have an H-Key, required 1 wire to be tapped, if you have remote start then you're golden and it's 100% plug-n-play and takes less than 30 minutes of install. Loving the fact my truck is warmed up every morning when I get in the truck.
