    tikkas have been hit and miss too, sakos been having trigger issues on their long rifles apparently. my dads brand new t3 is already getting the trigger and safety replaced.

    look at the Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 CM it has a CHF barrel and a better chassis and its cheaper. I would skip yje Burris and get a Vortex Viper PST Ge. II or go big and get the Razer line Vortex gives 40% to LE and vets

    Thanks I’ll look into this, good info. Still using an AR10 for hog hunting and everything else. Just want a 700 or similar for the arsenal.

    Sightron S3 are great optics. I'm mush happier with them than my Vortex HSLR. I've looked through a vortex pst gen 2, and it has nicer controls than mine. The Vortex Razor is sweet! Burris makes some decent glass but for the price point I think you can get better glass. Nightforce shv can be had at around the same price as high end burris stuff too. My rule for quality is American, Japanese or European then Philippine glass.
