Thank you for the information. I will look up the Ovtune. @ Living yes I did. I went to uncertain dealership which I will never go to again. I had the salesman literally say “ you’ve driven a Tacoma you driven them all” Yup... that happened @ boy yes somebody told me about this so I decided to check it out. @ daddy yes I do put the gas pedal down. FYI these Tacoma’s do beat the Ford Raptor after the 2 nd day of having this truck he almost merged into me , so I let
Him know his stupid no resale value raptor was crap!

 

Sorry sparky..I thought u were trolling..hence my response. Since it appears I are a real person with a real issue..I’ll try to provide some guidance.

Stock programming sucks according to most. There are two tsb’s out that modify the trans behavior. 0058 and 0062. Details can be found in the “list of ts-b’s”
Sticky. Trans will behave much better after, but will still learn over time. To disable the learned tune, drive in s5 or s6 after getting the tsb applied. If this doesn’t work for you, your left with OVTune as the last option.
