    808 ALLDAY!!
Just replaced my upper uniballs and they sound like maracas when i pressed them out....Do the red poly bushing wear out at the same interval? I still have a little clunk under light road bumps...Getting ready to slap in new lowers control arms probably this weekend, parts in garage. Do I need to think about those poly bushings as well? I know my lowers have 80k miles on them and prob need changing cause lower ball joint has been leaking with a torn boot for some time and i know the inner mounts with the cam adjusters could be weak. Kings are brand new last year. Thoughts??

I went ahead and swapped in new bushings when I replaced the uniballs on my TC uppers recently since I had them out. Hadn't realized how loose the front end had gotten. Everything felt much tighter on mine, so I would consider replacing them if you're in there

its no biggie for me to pull the uppers since I just did it....did you notice any bad wear on the red poly bushings? Just the uniballs made a night a day difference in handling/noise alone. Still have some lingering noise...

didn't realize your suppose to loosen control arm bolt before pumping grease....dang...guess I'll order new bushings since I hadn't done that over the years...

I just rebuilt my icon uppers with 56k miles. Replaced the uniballs, but the poly bushings appeared to be in good enough shape to be left for another round. From my understanding, the bushings will wear according to your driving style. More weight or more abuse will cause the inner hole to compress and oblong slightly. Icon uses the yellow zinc coating on the inner sleeve for the through bolt so a wear pattern is immediately visible as the coating wears off. Not sure if TC uses any coating on theirs but some careful observation might show clues. If you don’t feel slop in your suspension I’d say leave it. Otherwise, like you said, it’s an easy thing to correct at a later date.

Yeah they actually slid out pretty easy and so did the sleeve. All of that was nice and tight going back in with the new ones.
