I have soft trifold extang trifecta 2.0, but money aside i'd have gotten a solid fold 2.0.

I like the American truck cover JR. The toolbox is just above the canister. It’s big enough to fit a Viair compressor, Straps things like that and has options for Yakima racks over the top that I have.. I am very happy with it and instal was easy. Definitely look into it if you like a rolling tonneau cover

One thing to comsider. Do you need to remove the cover from time to time to haul something?

When I needed to haul my enduro bike, the Toyota cover can be easily removed, and reinstalled later when needed.

I didn’t really research after market models to address this, but it would be an issue for folks needing to use all of the bed from time to time.

The factory Tacoma tonneau cover is less secure, leaks more & falls apart too easy with use

Bakflip mx 4. Fits flush. Folds 3x right up to the back of the cab. No need to remove to the cover to use the whole bed.

Using a Truxport on mine. Drove thru some heavy ass rain, and only had a couple drops at the sides of the tailgate.

It came with 2 foam pads for the tailgate, but I aint put them on yet.

OEM cover, it's built like a tank. Set heavy items on it...won't hurt. Tacoma logo.

The signature series (tarp like) is the one I have. It’s canvas rather than vinyl. I prefer that over the vinyl. I’ve had it since the end of July and it looks like the day I got it. My father had the same one and same material on his Tacoma from 2011-2016 and his looked great the day he got rid of it. It’s all a personal preference, of course

I'll fourth it. I dont have experience with any other tonneau's, but the OEM has been solid, secure and looks good. It hasn't leaked and I'm not worried about the weight of the massive pile of snow on top of it.
