OEM Tonneau or After market?

just to note, most dealerships (almost all) won't sell you an OEM tonneau after you've already purchased your truck. Seems to either come from the factory with it or not.

so if OP already has his truck he's out of luck, gonna have to ebay/craigslist one

Uh, no. If I want a OEM tonneau cover my buddy has one in his garage and I'm sure the dealership would swap out the bed rail caps on this '17 he traded in the week before I bought mine. His had a 3 month old LEER topper on it is why the cut out bed rail caps and plugs are still on the truck. Dealer sold the LEER topper last week.

You're misunderstanding. What I'm saying is that dealerships won't sell you an OEM tonneau after-the-fact. You either buy it during the sale or not at all. Only other way is 3rd party sale
