I got a good chuckle today upon reading my work email (from HR). For those not up on gov't pay rates, the main one is GS. I'm a WG which is aka " Trades and Labor". Last November, because of the new tax laws (I guess), we all got a bump in pay....excepts WG's. So I'm getting a whole year back pay for the difference.

I'm not getting a flu shot this , last year I go one and within a few weeks of it I got the flu bad which lasted almost 2 months

When the sun is down or just above the horizon it gets downright cold in the Desert !!! . Last night it got down 38° here and right now temps dropping fast and should be seeing mid 40° temps by 1800hrs

    That's awesome news !!!

I just can’t like that picture. I used to love winter, skiing, ice fishing, and winter camping. Now it just makes me ache.

    Evening.
    Crap incoming..
Decided to bite the bullet and put the newely overhauled walk behind on the front line.
Won’t be a huge amount ,4 to 6 with sleet, but should be a good test to see if it will puke or not.
I guess hunting is out now as where I park is where all the snow is going to go. Inland a good 8 inches.
Guess it wasn’t to to be this year.
That’s ok... my mind has been preoccupied anyway....
Just gives me more time to practice I guess...

That is usually what it works out to be W2 dependent of course.

With all the work you have done, I am sure a small part of you wants the snow.

It might turn into a mini-goatscrew with taxes. It's last years money under the old tax law but I won't receive them till this tax year....so not sure if I'll have to file an ammendment for last year or not. I'm just going to shut up until told otherwise.

Yah that would be interesting I would guess it depends on which budget they pulled it from this years or last years , this year no worries last year I would imagine a new W2 and they will sure as hell send you a new one to cover their ass.
